THERMOCOUPLE TYPE J 700 DEG C RATED
A Thermocouple is a sensor used to measure temperature. Thermocouples are made from two wire made from different metals. These wires are welded together at one end to form a tip called a junction. The junction is where the temperature is measured. When the junction sees a change in temperature, a milli-voltage is created. This signal is then calculated by a temperature controller to give a accurate temperature reading.
The most common are type K and J of which we keep stocks in 3 & 6 mm diameter in various lengths.
