Our cartridge heaters are manufactured to the highest standards to ensure the users the best performance and the longest possible working life. They are made from stainless steel construction with a fully welded waterproof tip and nickel-chromium resistance wire. They are all compacted with magnesium oxide to give a high watt density design.

What are Cartridge Heaters used for?

Cartridge heaters are used in many applications; the main function is to transfer their heat to another body. The designs are generally high watt densities, so they are most suited for heating metal plates and mould tools. These tools require a large amount of power to bring them up to temperature and maintain the heat; cartridge heaters are perfect for this.  Not suitable for heating up outside a heating block or without temperature control as this would damage them.
